We ended the day with a home cooked dinner made by
Patty and a drive out to winter camp. We packed in my truck
and paroosed the rim of the canyon for a few hours and
called it a night at the hogan.
Bright an early the next morning...... actually, more like 1:00
the next day we got up some what refreshed and made a
half fast breakfast of hot dogs and Brats.
We headed out for a stop into Tuba. We freshened up, had
a word with Uncle John and wife and then headed for some
rock formations Lance and I found the previous afternoon.
Lance says the under carriage check out "OK!".
Some time in the Late after noon we left for Flag.
Driving up out of the desert and into the foot hills below
Flag Lance took a side road that lead into the back
country North of Flag.
Next, Lance Played with fire.....
And that was pretty much it. The next day was
Monday. Lance had school and work. Before
we left James and I drove out the ranch one
more time. I am severely lacking in knowledge
of the land around the ranch so James, much
more experience than I kind of guided me
around the areas he was familiar with. All in
all it was a good trip.
Thanks to Lance for the palettes, they burned
real well. Thanks to Patty and Bonzo for letting
us shake the dirt off at their home. And thanks
to James for taking the majority of the pictures.
