Who: Me and James
When: Uhhh, sometime late September of 04
Why: to see Lance for his B-Day
"Would you like Full Insurance Coverage on your Rental
today?"

"Yes, yes I would."

Now, this was a quick whirl wind of a trip. Left Friday Night,
errrr, rather 1am Sat Morning after a normal overtime
packed week at Efilm. James and I hit the road and made
very good time. Gussleing gas and keep'n an eye out for
speed traps was the name of the game.

We rolled into Flag sometime around 6AM. The sun had just
started to break through the forest lined horizon as we hit
the outskirts of the city. I with my complete lack of memory
relied on James for direction once off the main part of the city
. We pulled off a few exits before the main Downtown strip.
We figured it was a bit early to try to wake Lance up so we
drove around town for a while. Eventually after finding a few
spots to give the old dodge a taste of The dirt we found a
Denny's and got some breakfast. It was nearly 10am when
we fist made contact with Lance. He was very "groggy" from
having a late night get together but was more than willing to
get the day started.

We met up outside of his dormitory and then headed to his
dorm room. We met his room mate and hung out for a short
time. Now at this point my memory starts to go fuzzy. I had
been awake now for close to 36 hours (Efilm Rules!).

Sometime in the early afternoon while hanging in the
hamster cage Lance calls his dorm room we decided to hit
some off road trails. The first was a series of back wood
trails that twisted around the Flagstaff air port.  It had
snowed and rained a few days before and making it an
ideal time to get a good dose of mud

Here's the Ram after a taste of the first part of the trail. This
was where the trail came out of some deeply rutted forest
trails.
Here it is, probably the largest of the mud pits we ran
across during this trip. It had obviously seen a lot of
use over the past couple of wet days. I should point out
that this was the same pit that Sarah's Beretta had
gotten stuck in, mmmm, I cant remember, was lance
driving it? Anyway, Lance made several Heroic passes
through the 3 foot deep puddle. The first of which he got
stuck and had to back out, as seen above. We spent a
good 30 minutes here putting the Jeep through its
paces.
